The Best Microalgae Awards
Highlighting and rewarding microalgae innovation
The Best Microalgae Awards are independent, non-profit awards now organized under the aegis of the European Algae Biomass Association. Our scope remains global and the award includes judges from industry organizations throughout the world such the Algae Foundation and NAXA.
Microalgae hold boundless opportunities that remain concealed from the public eye. Our aim is to act as a catalyst to highlight and reward innovators in the field.
Our award categories are: the ‘Game Changer’, the ‘Upgrader’, the ‘Wild Card’, ‘Inclusive Innovation’, ‘Sustainability/CSR Initiative’ and two social spirulina awards (for India and West Africa).
Award Ceremony in Iceland (or Rome…) and virtually
The 2020 edition is slated to be presented during the 10ᵗʰ European Algae Industry Summit in Reykjavik, Iceland, on 20–21 October 2020… Should the summit be cancelled, we’ll simply switch to the AlgaEurope 2020 summit in Rome.
